right guys built my eep reader (well got sum 1 2 do it) and walah

NOTHING!!!!

i can only assume the reader isnt built right (wasnt me) lol!

i dunno wat to do now ne suggestions would be of help!

 

can you tke a foto of the reader ? how are you conecting to the xbox ??

my readers setup is slightly diff to the diagram my mate has bridged all connections to the best he can make out! so a pic wouldnt do u much good unfortunatly. itd be to complex to tell u wats (i think) is wat! lol

i have tried the eeprom and the lpc pad!

i guess the reader isnt right! i have followed the tut to the letter!

 

mine isn`t the same as the pic either ...i did mine on standard strip board ...so i hd to had drill the copper off in places .is that how he`s done it ??

i can't lock my hard drive. can any one help? im using xboxhdm and when i go to lock, it right away says aborting.

 

Why are you trying to lock the hdd?
Are you making the big hdd for xbox?

well the computer im gona hot swap on has 2 HDs already on it,so would i have to take my second HD out and put my 1st HD were my second one was and then put my xbox hd were my 1st hd was(Primary master)? also do i have to tak out my disc drive?

 

Can you tell me how the connection on your PC?
There are 2 ide cables on PC. So what they are connected to?

 

My primary is Primary Master:1st HD and Primary Slave 2nd HD, Secondary Master is My disc drive and Secondary,i dont think any thing is on it.

 

so remove the DVD/CD drive on secondary ide cable. Then do hotswap. Xbox's hdd will connect there.

remember download and unrar everything you need first.

 

so it does not matter if my HD with the os is on the primary or secondary? it will still work with Xplorer360?

 

So here are the connections:

- Primary IDE cable: PC's hdd and PC 2nd hdd
- Seconday IDE cable: xbox's hdd (primary connector)

Hotswap will work.
