How can i restore my old firmware

    :) yes, lucky me, i have a 2 years warranty, and it's 2 months old.but the problem is that i bought the drive not directly from them, but from another computer shop. Anyway, if they say it's broken they can replace it if they want, they're LG, aren't they?
    what brand of dvd's and cd's do you recommend me?here i can find a lot of brands, cheaper or expensive. i used Traxdata, Raxon, Verbatim, Benq,and some other cheaper brands. I noticed that it's working fine with better cd's and dvd's. Whatever...

    By all means use Verbatim when you can. They work very well in LG drives. Also, it does not matter where you bought the drive. The warranty is good. They go by your receipt or the date the drive was manufactured.The warrant starts on the date you bought it if you have a receipt.If you have no reciept they go by the date of manufacture. Use Verbatim, Sony made in Japan media, or Fuji Made in Japan media . Stay away from the rest is my advice. Well, the Maxell Made in Japan is also very good.
