How can there be HD movies that haven't been released?

    There are 1280x720 .avis of movies out in the P2P wild that haven't even been released yet on Blu-ray or HD-DVD. Please do not try to find them. But does anyone know how this is happening? I imagine the MPAA would be keeping a special eye out for those.
