How come i cant buy dual layered rewritables??

    It's funny noone mentions this but how come dual layered reqritable discs dont exist?
    I looked on all the major cdr/dvdr online shops in the uk here and not a single one sell these...what gives?
    They dont exist I presume but thats really weird!

    is there a uk site for DL RW discs?
    will my writer support them its a Liteon SOHW-1653S burns DL discs.
    Just dont understand why noone sells them...

    i think he was looking for "dual Layer" RW discs, which i dont think exist, RW's are hard enough for a DVD player to read, i cant imagine trying to read a DL Rewriteable disc.

    hayden is right here there have been no DL RW DVD disks created as of yet there was talk about it over a year ago, but the talk has died and I believe it has died do to the fact that Blue-Ray is now out and that it probably just wasn't cost effective or practical to create such a disk.
