I'm wondering what software will allow me to rip a DVD movie and control the file size. I know this will be tied to video quality, but I still want to be able to set the image quality and video size (600 x 800, 480 x 768, etc.)

I have tried AoA DVD Ripper and DVD XCopy - but both end states are at least 2 GB.

    Thanks,

The Best program I know of that can answer your question would be DVD Shrink. All you have to do is in the drop down menu for the burning drive select; go to image recorder, and it will create an iso file. That way, you can later burn the shrunken file with a program like DVD Decrypter.

Oh, and if you aren't sure on how to go about working with DVD Shrink, give the guides a try.
