umm i have to use alot of programs like dvd shrink and imgburn and VTS and stuff .. i was just wondering can nero do it without all that trouble ..
Only if there is no copyright protection. Nero can't bypass SOME encryptions on CD's and NONE with Movie dvd's. The method(s) you use to backup need to be that way. Wouldn't life be easier if this wasn't the case......lol. Once you have ripped a DVD to your HDD, Nero can take over from there, but nero recode is required. This is available as a "plugin" (i believe) or in the latest version 7. Either way there is cost involved if you don't already have it.
If it's ease of use you want, then download AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 from Slysoft.com; and try full programs for 21days free. After that you must pay, but the combo is worth the buy. Very easy to use. Basically one click after setting it up, if you have two dvd drives.
