how do i back up dvds with css? in new sorry

as many ppl i spose i got a dvd writter 4 x mas. i want 2 back up some of my dvds but they have css on them and they are obv bigger than my blank disc so how do i do it sorry its prob really easy i hav dvd decrypter but am yet 2 use it how do i make the film smaller plz?

you compress it with a compressing program
dvd2one ($40)
dvd shrink (free)
clone dvd (?$40)

shrink will also rip, obviating the need for decrypter.

 

ive just tryed doing it using shrink but it has come up with a error saying (data error) cyclic redunancy check

 

cyclic redundancy means dirty/scratched disc. clean and try again.
