ok...I know it's a pentium 4...windows xp, dvd rom burner, dvd/cd-rw drive, QSI DVD/CDRW SBW-161, 1.60 GHZ, 612 MB of ram.
ok on the desktop , you should have an icon for my computer.Double left click it and when it opens toy should have some thing similar to this. and down in the lower left corner you also have this info
you cant proceed unless you free up some room on your hard drive. To be able to burn a dvd you need at least between 6 and 12 gig free on one partition of your hard drive.A dvd you are copying or have encoded requires space, that space is on your harddrive but when you burn the program you are using also requires a temp directory to dump files onto as well.hence you dont have enough . You either have to burn stuff off your pc to free up some room or you will need to invest in some bigger hard drives.
can't believe how much space the nero takes...over 100...well I ended up deleting some files etc. and now have 5.10gb free
thanks again andmerr...but no it still doesn't work...by the way..the nero you linked me to download...downloaded in a demo version which give me a 30 day trial...are all components working in these demo versions? Also...I have a work computer I can use to either clear my homes files onto or try to use nero and download movies onto...however, it runs on windows 98 and has a Matshita dvd-rom sr-8175...is a 64.0mb ram, file system 32 bit and 66% free...however...I can't figure out if it has a burner...that I can burn dvds onto...how can I determine this please?
