How do i burn a movie downloaded as a .dat file?

    I have a Pioneer DVR-108 with Nero and have yet to get anything to burn on a DVD. I keep getting an error that the file is not supported, and it will not run with DVD Decrypter either. Will it just not burn to a DVD or what? Anyone know where I can find out info on this? This was downloaded as a Torrent file to begin with.

    try just opening it with wmp or real. see if that works
