how do i burn this .avi /xvid file with nero 7 to DVD??

I am trying to burn a movie I have to a DVD with ner 7, but I cannot find how to exactly.

Could someone please walk me through this?

i tried that, but in another thread i created in nero vision it only states MAKES A CD, not DVD. Why?

 

Are you using a Demo version or one you purchased?

Thats strange because it SHOULD be there. Open Nero StartSmart, at the top click on DVD and then see what options you have available.

If you cannot get the Make DVD feature, then I would try for a Re Install....uninstall and then re install

 

yep tried dvd mode and uninstalling and reinstalling 5 times now, still no go

 

Did this version come with your burner and is it an OEM version?

Open StartSmart, go to Info Tools and locate version number..should be 7.0.0.0 or similar.

 

version 7.0.8.2 and bought it from TARGET

 

OK try this, uninstall, run the clean tool, http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then try to install from here

using the serial number that came with the program

or you might like to try a later version, 7.2.7.0 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?1493
