HOW DO I CONVERT AVIA ND MPEG VIDEO CLIPS ONTO VCD OR DVD FORMAT.

    Hi,I recently downloaded some video clips in form of Avi and mpeg files how do I convert this into vcd or dvd for tv viewing.I was also considering getting them on tape..using my camcorder.Can anyone gide me on how to carry this out?Thanks.

    If the clip is in MPEG-1 format, it is most likely already in VCD compatible format -- simply follow our VCD burning guide, located at our article section (http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/). If it is in AVI/DivX format, you need to re-encode it, once again, guide is available at our article section (and tons of further instructions, in case you have problems with audio, are available already in our forums).

    Its a lot less work to get a video card with video out and watch the files in avi or divx format with your tv connected to your pc. I can also guarantee the quality will be better than encoding the file again.
