I have a client who needs me to convert his dvd to window media player. I have already converted his dvd to DV, MPEG4, Quicktime etc. But now he needs it in WMV.

What apps on the MAC can do this? I'm surprised the my $1200 "professional" video editing program Final Cut Pro can't.

after searching and searching on google i found a product at this website...

    http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm

it looks like it's a product that came out this past winter and would maybe work with all the fun software that you already own. on their website they had a "product reviews" link that i went to and it has a good description of what it does...

scroll down to the 11th paragraph titled "Telestream Flip4mac WMV Export Component". i hope this helps, it's the only thing i could find that was wmv/mac related. and thanks for sticking around this forum, you do answer more questions than anyone else in the world.md

Thanks for the tip. I was hoping to NOT have to fork out $100 for this though!

yeah, i can understand. for that much money, and since you're only going to probably use it for this one person, it really might not make sense. well, if i run across anything that is free, or really cheap i'll do another reply.
