How do I Convert VCD (.DAT) files to .VOB files? I have isobuster installed. I used to do this but have forgot how !!!! I thought I first had to open isobuster, select the .dat file and right click and extract it (which option please!!?) to my hard drive. Then rename the file extention (to something!!! - I think it was VOB) and then open TMPGEnc DVD AUTHOR and select scenes I wanted eventually edit things in dvd shrink. Please can someone fill in the blanks!!!! Many thanks Steve
I had the same prob last week. Im not sure but DivxToDVD may do it but Im not sure if DivxToDVD registers DAT files. If DivxToDVD doesnt work. Download WinRAR and select the DAT file and then go to the command that says something like "Extract MPG". Then the MPG will be where you wanted it to go and run it through DivxToDVD
