Well that all depends what you're looking for. Catalyst offers a variety of settings for games, video etc. A lot of them are image enhancing settings, which you need to balance between image quality and performance. If you'd like a guide on those features, feel free to drop me a Personal Message. This thread isn't really one about graphics.
So why not give Linux a try? There are lots of Distros with "Live" versions that you can try without installing anything on your system. Find one you like and learn it. It isn't as hard as most think.
Well, in my experience it was even more difficult than I expected, but don't let that put you off. I guess I just didn't look enough things up. Don't expect to use much of your hardware with linux though, some manufacturers provide linux drivers, but even the ones that do, they aren't as easy to install as you might think!
@sammorris You and I have discussed this before about Linux. The version you tried was an older one and one that doesn't always keep up with the latest drivers. Linux has come along way in the past couple of years and makes daily progress. Unlike Windows, things are patched every day and excellent tech support is available without fees. You really need to reexamine things before you continue to put them down.
I haven't, but using SuSe was onyly a brief experiment to get me out of a temporary hole anyway, I may try using it again a bit later, but for now I'm too tied up with other things to sort out.
