How do i get the darn subtitles

    Its supposed that when i ripped the dvd i also ripped the subtitles in the whole .vob file, but at the moment to change the format (dvd2AVI, TMPGENC)the subtitles dont appear. can anyone help me?

    Subtitles are not physically in the video, they're in their separate stream within VOB file.

    This has been discussed over and over and over again. But you need to add three additional tools in the mixture to make it work. After DVD2AVI, use VFAPIConverter to convert the .d2v file to pseudo .avi. Then load VirtualDub and open the pseudo-AVI you just created. Turn Video processing to Full processing mode. Go to Filters and add VobSub filter and choose the dir you ripped the movie originally to and select your subtitle language. Go to VDub's File menu and start frameserver. Use the new frameserving file as a video source for TMPGEnc.
