i need help. i am making a vcd out of an avi file. i am using tmpgenc to convert the avi to mpeg. i've been having problems with cut off subtitles at the bottom of the screen. How do i convert it so it comes out in letterbox form with the black outs at the top and bottom of the screen so i can see the subtitles?? Thanks in advance
sorry I haven't been able to get back to you but I'm assuming you are using the newest tmpgenc. after you find the file you want to transfer and go to the options menu the bottom says other options click on that and you should see some video settings and in those video setting make sure it doesnt say full screen try something that says center but keep aspect ratio. That should do the trick and help you keep your subtitles.
