how do I share file? netgear Fast Ethernet Switch FS105

    I have a netgear Fast Ethernet Switch FS105 hub. I was wondering how do I share file? i am using windows xp. i want to share my file with my other comp. thanks

    Wondering why none replied up so far, anyway...

    I gather you're speaking about making LAN (Local Area Network) which inlcuded your switcher (netgear) + 2 pc, right?
    If that's the case, you would need one NIC per pc (Network Interface Card), 2 rj45 cat5 cables atleast ( I gather your switch is 100Mb one, hence the Fast Ethernet naming). So, connect your pc's to switch with cat5 cables, power up switch and you would have connection ready.
    Next thing would be configure your both pc's to see each other. I gather it would make more sense to point few good tutorials instead me trying to make easy sounding too difficult, so....:
