how do you install a .bin drive firmware?

    how do you install a .bin firmware for a dvd drive?

    Run in daemon tools?

    not sure what to do please help

    I haven't a clue why a firmware update would be a .bin file. Where on earth did you download a firmware update as a .bin file, and what is it for?
