How do you make a dual boot.

    I'd would like to make a dual boot system(linux/windows),without erasing any of the currecnt data on my pc.

    does anybody know of a good guide that they could link me to...

    thanks in advance for any help.

    Well this is what id do. Download gparted live. Boot from disk using that and then resize the partition your using for windows. Then you will have free space on your harddrive. Now install the distro of your choice and make sure you select in the free space youve made.

    Then hopefully you will get a bootloader like GRUB at startup. This should give you the option between windows and your chosen distro to boot. :)
