I want to fit more songs in my mp3 player. Anyone know how I can make the audio files smaller so I can get more songs?

If you do not care about quality or are tone deaf - you can always compress them to a smaller size.

Try a different compression format (use a converter like Easy CD-DA Extractor to convert mp3 to something else). I heard Windows Media Audio format is about half the size for the same quality. AAC and OGG are excellent formats too - better sounding than WMA with just as much or better compression. The only drawback is player support. I don't know of any portable that supports OGG at the moment.
