i have a jvc everio 60gb hdd cam. Some of the file extensions are .mod .mpg .moi. I copied and deleted all the videos from the cameras hard drive, saved on disk. On the disk the files are in .vob for dvd video. I converted .vob to .mpg and to .mod dragged them to the cams hdd directory. I shut the cam off and started it, It then said something about a damaged file and needed recovery.

Is there anyway to edit some files, transferring from disk and put them back on the cams hdd after deletion? if so which directory and which file extension?
