Wot u need to do is get a mini USB cable that plugs into the side of ya phone, see the little rubber cover? Then get phone tools and transfer songs but it takes up a hell of alotta room, u gotta cut the song down to like 300KB. Get a plan, what ya mean?

You get a plan for the amount of minutes and other features you want like internet access, instant messaging, etc., not for the amount of physical memory on your phone. It would be cool if the phone had a small flash memory slot or something though. But I got my V220 for free, so I wouldn't expect that feature.

ROFL Funny. Maybe. I doubt it though. Have you tried finding a MIDI file of the song you want? Some MIDIs sound REALLY good. And the file size is VERY, VERY small. Try this site to search for MIDIs: http://www.musicrobot.com/

You can get extra memory by deleting the crap that cingular has put on your phone like the pictures and some of the sounds. My friend downloaded some russian program and used it to free up space on our phones. I also got to change the small screen that says cingular to whatever you want.

yeah, that's true. But the memory you have to work with is already VERY, VERY small. I was thinking that maybe fee09 knew how to increase the capacity alot ... from 1.5MB to 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, etc. I guess you used the p2k program to make changes to your phone or was it something different?

Hi, I've been reading your messages and I'm intrigued. I thought the V220 could only act as a modem (yawn). I've downloaded the phonetools software and I've got the cable. How do i go about transfering images and mp3's to my phone?
