How I extract subtitles from DVD

    Subtitles (.sup format) can be extracted using the likes of DVDSubedit.
    Load the file and select the sub stream.
    You have the option under 'File' to save as a .sup - or you can run the automatic OCR feature (it's on the lower right of the window) and save the subs as text (.srt format).
    While the OCR feature is generally good, the text file should be edited for errors (e.g. '1' and 'l' or two words running together)
