Senior Member to Addict -- 2500 posts
anyone to Moderator -- determination and bribes to admins
anyone to Admin -- decent six-figure (euros or dollars, we are not picky) lump sum to AfterDawn's Swiss bank account

 

has anyone givin afterdawn a six-figure amount of money?
and define determination and bribes pls

 

if you're showing a desire to be a mod as a newbie, you'll never make it. that shows a power-hungry and deviant personality--someone looke down upon at a forum of the quality of AD. don't worry about rank, just make worthwhile posts.

OMG when is the next transition date, I have now made 50 posts, half way to becoming a 'Member'

as i said before, it's whenever an admin decides. don't get your panties in a bunch. it's not the title under the name that counts, but the maturity, intelligence, and helpfullness expressed in a member's posts that are the true mark of the man. the post-based system is really inferior in that it lets idiots (like myself) rise to the top. don't make pointless posts, and don't worry about it, or you'll find yourself banned like a jew in Berlin in 1943.

note: no racist remarks, as that was not one. that was an analogy; personally, i enjoy the hebrew culture and study judaism with interest.
