    speaking of chips, they are coming up with disposable dvds. they can be played a few times then thrown out. im pretty sure ripping is shot to hell with that method.

    im actually telling the truth this time. in the future, we will have disposable dvds. probably after that blue ray crap.

    Why not try reading ... Some people are out of touch with reality. In arnsk10's case, what he fails to realize is I have helped him in some of his threads. The he/she comes back and says I don't allow him to post. I really don't like someone accusing me of something that is not true. And every thread I close (at least the mass majority) I say why I'm closing them. Fact is arnsk10 just can't follow directions, guides and rules.

    If he/she keeps up in the manner of multiposting, he/she will be gone. End of story, he/she has had enough warnings.

    If ya spent more time searching the forum you would actually find out what I do.

    What's an 8 year old doing in here anyway? I thought you had to be a certain age to join this discussion group. I vaguely remember entering my birthdate when I registered.

    Can't figure out fact from fiction. Is the chip in rental DVD's real or not. If real are the chips in regular DVD's.

    there is no damn chip you idiot. how can a chip be put inside a dvd. what they do instead is track information as it is read on a pc. chipless

    the answer is your not supposed to copy rentals.the way i understand it your allowed to make a backup of movies you bought.you could always move to china.i hear they copy everything,from movies to gucci hand bags.just dont put the 2008 olympic logo on it.they will cut off your head.not trying to be mean,just trying to give good advice.
