How many frequencies can works on nokia 1600 ?

kind regard sir' i wish to know about the number of frequencies that used (or can operates)on nokia 1600 or the phones that is comaptible with GSM networks and is it possible to change these freq's. or controlling it by user himself and not the network automatically as it known?thanks alot for advise.

Thanks for reply ,yes.. MTC atheer network is working in south& middle iraq.I know there's 2 freq's works on this type of nokia CP but is there a CPs that can use (mulitiple) ferq's or all of it use the same protocol ? thanks again for any information .
