    When I first started I remember seeing just a few Addicts. They were few and far between. I remember seeing a post a few months ago, the Addicts at that time were around 115. So yes the Senior and Addict members are increasing quickly.

    I'm just guessing here, but it seems like the senior and addict population of the frequent posters are close to 50% of the members.So the answer would be yes.

Since it's taken me nearly two years to get this far, maybe I'll advance to senior in another two years. Most of the threads I see have the problem already solved when I first see them. Either that or I have no idea what they're talking about. I believe that's more often the case. I believe I would rather post nothing than some of the posts I've seen. Not that I would probably do any better-lol.

    i'm with JD on the safety valve thing. Areas such as safety valve should be excluded from the post count somehow. Then it would simply be down to mods and genuine regulars to see the difference in the various threads; ie if someone's just posting useless posts to get up the ranks. Different site's also do the post count thing differently, ie you don't get an individual post for numerous replies in a thread, but for the thread as a whole.
    But as i say, as long the mods, and genuine regulars, know who's around the forums simply to boost their ranks, it doesn't really matter. Well as long as something is said or done about it i mean, ie newbies wouldn't then be given too much bad info by those ppl.
    Just my five pence.

    I've only been here 6months and am allegedly due Addict status. At the end of the day it's what you genuine regulars think that matters, oh and noob's too. If i was to consistently give noob's incorrect or crap info then i'd deserve a good kicking and i'd simply be making myself look stupid. I explained it better in a thread where some noob consistently attacked me for no reason, i said something like
    except of course looking a fool would buy bucketloads of shame

    you should be shot for that remark , how am i going to get my post count up.I know how about a trade off creaky, reckon you could persuade a mod to change my title from addict or senior to that of JOKESTER.

    Well you know i try to be the laughter clown in the safety value with all the inane posts to liven your dull week at work up.Boy have we had some doooooozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzies.
