thats what sucks about computers, you buy one and wait one year, the computer is worthless as there are computers that already came out twice as better. i bet if i sold mine itd be less than 100 if lucky.

none taken. My prices were CAD by the way so I'm not sure how that would translate to USD when I bought it. Funny how you can find parts that are better than mine for cheaper, next time I'm using newegg, not my local shop >.<

Well you get ripped of even more considering CAD is owning us now!

EDIT: Also I don't believe that your PC will have a good motherboard, case, or PSU like the one above. With that motherboard an E6750 can go up to 4ghz with the right cooling. What kind of mobo did they give you?

ASUS P5K. As for PSU I've got an Antec EarthWatts 500W I believe was the name of it, too lazy to check. And the case is an Antec Sonata III

That's pretty good. Though prices were a bit more three months ago, and the CAD was worth less back then. I guess they probably just charged you around 200 for the labor, which isn't that bad. The resale value is still low, but you didn't actually get ripped off too bad.
