thats what sucks about computers, you buy one and wait one year, the computer is worthless as there are computers that already came out twice as better. i bet if i sold mine itd be less than 100 if lucky.
Are put it on Ebay you might be surprised.I just sold a 4 year old Dell Dimension 4600 just the tower no monitor for $440.00
yeah E-Bay is probably the best bet to get top dollar. but its going to cost at least 25.00 to 30.00 dollars to ship it
Yea,after shiping and fees i came out with $400.00 which i still thought was remarkable for a 4 year old Dell.
yea i was going to try and sell so i could buy a dell xps 420 but im just going to keep the one i have and upgrade. Im just not the biggest fan a HP.
Could anyone appraise mine then? I have a Sony Vaio VGN series notebook with the following specs: 1GB Ram, 100 GB HDD, 13.3" monitor,Intel Core Duo 1.83 MHz running Windows XP Professional. If you need more info please let me know. Thanks ya'll. Hopefully, it's more than $300-$400
If you don't mind could you do mine too? It's about 3 months old Intel Core2Duo e6600 4GB DDR2 667 RAM EVGA GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 7.1 Realtek soundcard 320GB Seagate HDD Acer AL1916W 19" lcd monitor LG DVD +R DL drive Vista Ultimate Logitech G7 wireless Mouse curious to see whether I got ripped off or not, payed about 2000$ for that.

That PC I configured above will(no offense) kick you PC's ass.
none taken. My prices were CAD by the way so I'm not sure how that would translate to USD when I bought it. Funny how you can find parts that are better than mine for cheaper, next time I'm using newegg, not my local shop >.<
Well you get ripped of even more considering CAD is owning us now! EDIT: Also I don't believe that your PC will have a good motherboard, case, or PSU like the one above. With that motherboard an E6750 can go up to 4ghz with the right cooling. What kind of mobo did they give you?
ASUS P5K. As for PSU I've got an Antec EarthWatts 500W I believe was the name of it, too lazy to check. And the case is an Antec Sonata III
That's pretty good. Though prices were a bit more three months ago, and the CAD was worth less back then. I guess they probably just charged you around 200 for the labor, which isn't that bad. The resale value is still low, but you didn't actually get ripped off too bad.
