A lot of times I've seen it the other way round.
People go "I've just bought this, is it any good". The answer is almost always no.

 

I don't care if I rip someone off, I just want money! So I'm gonna beef up my specs on ebay by having 2 cores each at 3.52 GHZ to give me 7 GHZ! lol

E-Bay is definitely the way to go . I've never failed selling any item I've ever put on E-Bay

 

Sam, it was actually thinking of doing that. It's a tough world we live in. I have to make a choice, make more money, or choose not to mis-inform people. Very tough... lol

 

Despite ebay and paypal's charges, and next day courier delivery, me and a friend managed to make £12 selling a graphics card on ebay we bought off overclockers.co.uk on a special deal. We should have bought more of them damnit! It was an X800GTO, £58.69 from the shop, £68.09 after delivery. We sold it for £95!

I sold my modded xbox (bigBOX) on ebay last year for 450$(US). They asked in a comment if you could back up games on the HDD. Of course you could.. About 30 minutes later it was bought. Only problem is it was an original HDD with a whole 10 gigs of space thats almost 2 whole games! (that and it was pre-loaded with halo 2 stuff)

 

I havent conned someone... yet. I did do somethings, haven't you wondered how I manage to sell less powerful GPUs and manage to buy MORE powerful ones and still have some money left over? It's all on craigslist. Check out my newest add for my video card. I kinda act like I don't know much about video cards. Hence the "8800 card" thing I say.

You think I overdid it with the whole "It is the second most powerful video card in the world, it is right below the 8800 card."? It's amazing how so many retailers are selling the 7900GTX for 550? Why would they even list it that high?

 

Because that's how much they cost to buy. The RRP of the 7900GTX was never lowered by nvidia. They simply went off sale instead. Since the remaining ones cost that much to buy, that's how much they're being 'sold' for.

Yeah you probably can. Put it up on craigslist, say it's the most powerful Nvidia 7 card in the WORLD. They'll buy it!
