Yeah, I was gonna say the X850XT too. The only reason not to go with it over the other cards would be if you didn't the space for the 2 slot design.

i'm leaning towards the x2 3800+ but i am not sure if it's compatible with my mobo. can someone please verify this? if the mobo don't work with amd x2 3800+ i'll just stick to amd 64 6700+ cuz i am gonna go broke lol. what do you guys think of this build? can it play f.e.a.r. or elder scrolls IV oblivion? would it play these 2 games if i choose the amd athlon 64 3700+ instead? thanks guys. p.s. oh yeah byron02 i kinda copied your build man sorry except for the mobo and the ram lol.

Yeah the X2 is compatible. It's my processor, and I love it.
The only thing is, it doesn't support SATA2, take a look at the A8N-E. It's my board, and I don't regret the purchase in the slightest.

It's about 15 bucks more, but doubles the DTR of your HDD.

Yeah I noticed you copied my build except for Case, RAM, and MOBO, but I'm gonna suggest you copy my mobo too.

Yeah, The A8N-E is one of tbe best reasonably-priced motherboards out there. The X2 3800 really is a good processor, and once dual core support is fully in use, you've basically got an Athlon64 6400+ (The FX-57 being about 4700+) so it will eventually mash any top end single core that's currently available for 3x the price.
    It's all good, just do:
    X2 3800+
    A8N-E
    same RAM
    same HDD
    X850XT
    same case
