happy birthday whose ever birthday it was, sorry its a bit late!

ive just come home from doing the last christmas play i'll be doing in church. every year we have one at easter and one at christmas, and im always in them, even though im like the quietest kid. i just like doing the plays. but ive realised that when you're 15 and the closest person in the cast is 3 years younger, and you're performing in santa hats in your pyjamas, it looks sort of strange, concerning heights.. and im slowly getting taller. so im going to have to stop. today went well. i still cant sing, but no one could tell cos i dont hold the mic that close cos i wouldnt dare, plus im quiet anyway. awww im gonna miss it!!

I used to be in all the plays too.

I did not enjoy though. My father was the pastor, so I really didn't have a choice. Ah well, now I will force my kids to be in those plays!!!

    LOL

haha. my dad was a pastor too, when we were "in the field". cant give it any other description. but during that 5 year period there werent enough kids in the new church. there was just my 3 siblings and me. but now we're back in the lovely mother church. and its great, i was practically born in it and everyones close, kids and adults.

Hi EvaMae - Your last couple of post seem (to me) contradictory; please do rebut...

in one post you say yeah (paraphrasing) we were in the field, pa doing missionary work, it was just us siblings and it's great to be back home where we are at a bigger church with a lot of kids.

then... in a subsequent post you say (paraphrasing) and yeah we have been back for 5 looooong years.

my point... maybe you enjoyed being "in the field" more than you realize. Please do consider that. If not in missionary work, in some other prospect in life that gets you to travel and experience the many mysteries of this planet; humanitarian efforts are honorable.

In any case, do yourself a favor and explore all geographies within reason. Meet people and share and help and be a good advocate. Make us proud!
