Ye PC games are the best games!!! anything that comes to the ps2 and PC is always better on the pc cause there is much more you can do with em
I used to play starcraft for hours on end, and with windows 2000 it worked great! sorry to hear that chris. PC's will always reign supreme when it comes to gaming, but you pay the price with the hardware being so expensive.. I might know soon if it's worth it or not, I will probably see a 100% gain in performance just by replacing motherboard, processor, and memory.
Ye PC's have one problem and thats all the newest games are stretching their minimum requirements, it'll just be a matter of time b4 my pc wont support the best anymore, :-(
Yes, PC's are always outdated within a year, and almost always obsolete within 3-4 years.. At least my old Pentium 3 machine lasted me 3 years before dying.. heh.
Luckily, am not on to the most demanding / heavy kind of games, so mine ex 850 celeron worked quite long for me..until it said "bollocks". Well, now having 1,47 GHz amd which will do just fine with 512 MB of RAM. But one can't ever have enough HD space thou... Just now, waiting for MoO III going gold...inpatiently.
I loooovee my pc. plays games like unreal turnoment 2003, battle field 1942, mafia, gta4 with out a hitch!. Custom built by me.. The one thing I hate most is assembly line built machines. errr....
Yipee! I just put the order in for the parts for my new pc. Intel Pentium 4 2.4Ghz 533Mhz RETAIL 500Watt ATX Power Supply SAMSUNG 512MB DDR Ram 400MHZ FSB VIA P4PB Ultra Mainboard some specs: 8x AGP graphics port 400mhz DDR memory Hyper Threading Technology 2 ATA 133 EIDE controllers Promise ATA 133 RAID controller w/2 EIDE RAID connectors. I already have a ATI Radeon 8500 4x AGP card, so I will finally have a pc that can really push my video card! I should be the envy of all my friends within 10 days or so. ;-)
just turned 27, getting old, been doing computers since i was a 5 year old, turned into a I.T. Engineer about 3 years ago, my ideal job, love it Rik.
Rambus is nice, but DDR 400 benchmarks about the same as it does, for less money. The motherboard I have seems to be smoking the competition, here is a good review: http://hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDA1
I’ve got an ASUS motherboard that specs out just about the same, Nice feature's like easy bios over clocking capability’s for Ram\FSB\processor\voltage.+ lots of other features. The quality is key. Ps. what are you planning on doing with this rig launch a space shuttle?
Turned 30 last month and gotta say I thought it would be a big deal but by now I don't care about age. Maybe I'll care when I'm 40 or maybe it helps that I'm a guy but 30 ain't too damn bad.
Damn, people still posting about how old they are.. LoL. No space shuttle plans yet, but I do want to rule the world.. ;-)
