Some time ago, I took a bus to N.E. Philly. This blond haired, well mannered Russian kid (lots of russians in Philly) offered me his seat which I gladly took. I thought it was because I walk with a bit of a limp but I looked up and there was this sign, "Please relinquish seats to senior citizens". I could have killed that polite little twerp LOL!

I don't have to, the only times I go on my own I'm quite happy walking/going by public transport. Besides, York is definitely not a city for driving and you're not allowed cars on the university site.
haha, well where I live we have a public transportation system. My America's standards it's awesome(it actually sucks). That's America for you, you need cars to get around ALWAYS lol. I guess it because it's a big country and everything is spaced very far apart.
