    Well, I just scanned this thread. It has been going a long time covering a variety of topics. I'm knocking on the door of age 50 and am one of the few females I've seen posting on this thread. You probably won't even remember discussing this but I wanted to solve one of the mysteries that you discussed in the early part of this topic: Why do women demand that you put the toilet seat down? Picture this: You get up in the middle of the night to uh..."take care of business"...you are more asleep than awake....you sit down....talk about a rude awakening! Your scream wakes up the rest of the household...which consists of your husband and two sons..you hear three "it wasn't me, I didn't do it"...

    that may be so... but men also have to sit to perform one bodily function. the difference is, we look before we squat down. plus, women have hands too. i think its more a lazy factor than anything.
