how to add new hard drive to pc and take data off crashed one

    hi my hard drive in my pc crashed i have a new one on the way out to me (sata) my question is how do i add the new hard drive to my pc (compaq presario sr1839uk) to replace the crashed one and is there a way in getting the files off the the crashed one.

    also how to i add back window's xp too it, and is it possible to add 3 internal hard drives to the pc?
