how to burn a hd dvd for a presentation on LCD 32

Im working in a framing shop and i would like to make a presentation with powerpoint or a dvd software , burn it on a dvd, and play it in the 32" LCD tv screen in our big window.
the fact is that i did my presentation with a dvd maker software and i burned it on a normal dvd. when i played it on tv the size of the slide show was very small ... and it wasnt nice at all
I would like to make a real full screen- hd slide show with pictures of what we do in the shop.
Does someone can tell me how to do it...
Im working on it for more than 2 weeks now, and i cant do anything...
