    I have avatar mkv file re-encoded to 1.5gb at 720p I think?
And I was wondering what's the neccessary steps needed to be taken to burn it onto a 4.7gb DVD to be able to play through my blu ray player in hd quality?

    Thanks,
    KFC.

are you trying to burn it to a regular dvd or to a bluray disc? if a regular dvd just burn it with dvd flick, should take average 1hr30min.

I don't know about dvd flick. You load it into tsmuxer and create bluray disc then burn the files with image burn. Depending on your system and media you could be looking at 30 minutes to an hour. It won't take tsmuxer really that long to create the files for you can its in low def and 2gs of data. Imageburn is very good at using system resources and media's abilities. I switched yrs ago to image burn cause it does as good and better than nero, roxio etc and it free and a lot more versatile.
