How to combine .srt file with .mkv file?

    I've looked through these forums and the only threads I've found addressing this are all 2 years old so I don't know if there's anything new out there. So, can anyone tell me what software I will need to add an .srt file into an .mkv file? I've downloaded AVI-muxGUI and Virtual Dub, but can't get either to work.

    Thanks! I got it working but is there any way to sync the .srt and .mkv files? The subtitles are a couple of seconds off from the video.

    Try Subtitle Workshop, works pretty good.
