When I load videos from my camera onto my computer, for some reason they automatically convert to quick time files, even though i have a PC, not a Mac.
However, I am making a movie on Windows Movie Maker, and it can only import videos that are windows media player files.
I was wondering if anyone could pleeeease help me; I have no idea how to convert them!
    Thanks!

well you need a converter, check www.imtoo.com, they have many good working converters, also there is master converter, it converts to wmv, and your camera is probably making MP4 files, so quick time takes it as default
when using converters its best to never stop/pause or run other tasks while its converting, this will reduce errors
If you could do us a favor and right click on the file>properties>the look at the window across from "file type" and tell us what it is!

    cheers
