How to convert the mp4 video on Mac ?

    I got some videos about my classmates last week , but it is a mp4 format .So I want to convert it to other format to make it more clear ,and at the same time I want to add some interesting effects . Give me some way to do this or a program which can do this . Oh , Almost forgot,my system is Mac ,Thank you !

    I use the boilsoft video converter which works well on windows before.Your OS is Mac,it also have Mac video converter but my friend chat with me someday,he said he's using a mp4 converter and it satisfy him.I just start using Mac now,he adviced me go to www.imp4converter.com/mp4converter_mac.html and see the detail.You can go and have a look,I think you may like it.

    Hi, there are many free video codec app for Mac, you can search in Mac app store and choose the best ranked one.
