how to copy copyrighted ringtones?

    how can I copy a copyrighted ringtone to another phone?

    That's fair enough...
    But In my defense I should say that I paid for it in the first time!
    I just changed phones and that ringtone didn't come with the backup because it was protected.

    since you payed for the music ill tell you
    its so easy just connect your phone to your pc/laptop
    and copy the song to your pc and then copy them back to your new phone if you need any more help tell me what phones you have and ill tell you what to do

    I've tried that, it didn't work... :(
    My old phone whas a Nokia 6610i and the new one is a Nokia 5140i.
    And the problem is that I don't mind paying for that tune again, but now I can't find it anywhere anymore... Buáááááá (him a girl, I can cry!!! LOL)

    them phones are a bit old....
    it only works on mp3 tones{songs) and i dont think them phones have mp3 so im sorry i cant help you

    They're not "that" old...
    The 5140i has mp3... but the tone is a midi
