How to correctly set Nero Speed for scans?

    What settings should I use in Nero DVD Speed. I used to do my Scans with a NEC 3540 because my BenQ rebadge didn't allow me to use Nero Speed correctly. Now that I cross-flashed it to BenQ firmaware I am discovering options my NEC didn't have. For example, when doing scans with my NEC, I only had 1X,4X,6X,8X,12X and 16X speed options. Now with my BenQ I have pretty much the same speeds, but I also have 4X CLV, 6X CLV, and 8X PCAV. So what speed setting should I use for my Quality Scans?

    Burn at half the rated speed of the disc and then scan at 8X.

    Well, in my case that would be burn @8X and scan @8X.

    Well, in my case that would be burn @8X and scan @8X. Funny I was expecting 4X for scans. Oh well.
