    which CD is that? do you know what are inside the CD?

    ok turn on xbox with that CD-RW inside the dvd drive. Do you see a menu or any options of the CD? if yes, list them here.

    The autoinstaller (AID, Slayer, SID, etc...) is an ISO which has everything for xbox like dashboard, apps, emulators. YOu can download them from torrent site. Then burn the iso into CD/DVD. You xbox will boot this disk.

    ok great info. Turn on xbox and load evox dash. Goto System utls => settings. Tell me what do you have in there. Your IP should be set to "static". I will guide more.

    @n00bl3t
    you use router and you should use ethernet cable NOT the crossover cable.

    Tell me your settings on PC aND XBOX? wHICH dash do you have?

    This is what i see when i go there. And since its already on my Hard drive it only says the first 4 things if there is a connection.
    Network
    Type static
    IP 192.168.0.3
    Line Status 100/Full Duplex
    Ethernet MAC address 00:50:F2:F3:CA:F6
    SetupNetwork = Yes
    StaticIP = Yes
    Ip = 192.168.0.3
    Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1
    DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
    DNS2 = 0.0.0.0
    SetupDelay = 0

    On xbox you have settings above. So ON PC you should have this:
    Primary IP: 192.168.0.1
    Subnet : 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway: blank

    Then connect ftp with flashfxp. If can't connect, change IP address on both PC and Xbox like this:

    Xbox:
    Ip = 192.168.1.20
    Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway = 192.168.1.10

    PC:
    Primary IP: 192.168.1.10
    Subnet : 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway: blank

    Reboot xbox and connect ftp again. let me know the result.

    Where is the place where you would type in
    Primary IP: 192.168.0.1
    Subnet : 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway: blank
    when i click on my quick conect it says:
    server or URL
    User name
    password
    remote path
    Proxy server which i have at default
    Is this the right place to put that info, and if so what do I put where? i am using flash FXP its an evaluation copy if that affects anything. If I am typing this info in the wrong place could i get some step by step intructions to get there?
    Thanks

    Connect PC to Xbox by using a crossover cable

    ON Evox dashboard of XBOX. Goto settings => static=YES.
    IP 192.168.0.3
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.0.1
    DNS is blank

    Save.

    ON PC. Goto START => SETTINGs => NETWORK CONNECTION. You will see LOCAL AREA CONNECTION, right click on it and select properties. The window pops up, then look for TCP/IP. select it and click on properties. Enter following
    IP 192.168.0.1
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway is blank
    DNS is blank

    Save.

    Reboot xbox. OPen the FlashFXP on PC then select quick connection. Then type in.
    connect to 192.168.0.3
    port 21
    pass xbox
    user xbox

    Then click connect.

    Hey,
    I flashed the x3 3294 on bank 1234 and the m8 bios on 5678 on my v.1 xbox, and when I try and use the evox dash, I still get the error 13 message. i also tried to download the xboxdash.xbe from my list,but I don't think it was the right one. So can anyone assist me in how I can get my original dash back? I think that may ba why I keep getting the error message.

    if you already flashed Evox M8, when turn on xbox you will EVOX logo under the big X. Then you can download the autoinstaller disk and burn the iso into CD-R/DVD-R. your xbox should load this disk. Then you install dashboard and apps.

    If you still see the white microsoft logo under the big X, I think you did not flash bios successfully. Then you need to reflash bios.

    @Deisel
    set x3 to bank 1234. Turn on xbox, do you see xecuter logo appears under the big X? Then turn off xbox and set x3 to bank 5678. turn on xbox again, do you see evox logo?

    If yes, then you flash bios successfully. If NO, stop here and reflash bios.

    do you have complete evox dash file? list them here I verify for you.
    do you have autoinstaller disk? if yes, load it and tell me what are on the menu
    can you ftp?
