I have quake 4 on an .iso file. I also have a .mds file. No matter which of those files I put into deamon-tools, it still wants the cd-key. As far as I know, the cd-key should be in the .mds file. So I guess my question is: How do I find my cd-key to quake 4?

Well If you actually did buy Quake 4 as you say you have...
There are so many things wrong with your post that it is obvious that you just downloaded the game of the internet and you have no idea what to do. You say you have the actual Quake 4 game yet you dont have a cd-key!? And you obviously dont know the first thing about what ISO's and MDS's/MDF's are do you. (sarcastic voice) "YOUR" cd-key wouldnt be in the mds the mds generally just contains info on how the media is to be read/burnt. Do you really want to know how to find "YOUR" cd-key?? Well the first thing you got to do is actually own the game!!

please streeaka check out this thread . . .
