how to increase playback speed of divx file on harddrive

    HI,
    I have got some instructional video files as avi files, I couldnt increas the speed, since i want to see them in the shortest time , there are lots of hours of video, how can I increase the playback speed of an avi file, already saved on the hard drive. ( I dont know why, but mediplayer 10 , when I go on enhancement, the speed increading tab in not activated on these files

    Try mplayer. From recollection "[" & "]" increase/decrease the playback speed. Media Player Classic is another option, but mplayer offers more increments.
