how to joint two portrait pics together?

    Hi

    i have taken some pics and they are in portrait mode, i want to use two of them next to each other as my desktop background. What program can i use to easly put the pics next to each other and same them as 1 picture?

    depending on what the background is like you could use MS paint (if the BG was completely over exposed) if not, you could use photoshop or the GIMP.
