How to make a DVD bootable

    Hi Guys....I have a dvd (Vista) but when i insert it into my drive, it does not read automatically and i have to log into the system and then open it. As a result i cant install Vista on my comp..can sum1 tell me how i can make it a bootable DVD so that i can install it without any difficulty. Can sum1 please help me with this.

    Is this an original copy of Vista? If it is then it will boot just fine. You just need to be sure your DVD optical drive is selected as your first boot device in your BIOS.

    If it's not an original version then you came to the wrong place for help. You could have asked your question differently like maybe just plain and simple "how do you make a bootable disc?" you gave to much information here and this could be considered piracy and thats illegal and not looked well on here at AD :)
