    you can get a google search engine script, but it will be the GOOGLE SEARCH ENGINE

    to make your OWN search engine, well, consider it impossible unless you have some l33t scripters and coders at hand :p

    Want to drive traffic? Try the Google Free way.

    Google Free is search that's fast, easy and yes, absolutely free

    Treat your visitors to the same search service you use yourself. With Google Free, it costs nothing to provide Google search results to users who want to search the web or just your website.

    * Google Free web search
    * Google Free SafeSearch
    * Google Free web search with site search

    Use Google Free search the same way you use Google.com and you'll get exactly the same results. Please be sure you understand and agree to our Terms of Service or you may be asked to remove Google Free from your site.

    Copy. Paste. Search.
    Google Free web search

    <!-- Search Google -->
    <center>
    <FORM method=GET action="http://www.google.co.uk/search">
    <input type=hidden name=ie value=UTF-8>
    <input type=hidden name=oe value=UTF-8>
    <TABLE bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><tr><td>
    <A HREF="http://www.google.co.uk/">
    <IMG SRC="http://www.google.co.uk/logos/Logo_40wht.gif"
    border="0" ALT="Google" align="absmiddle"></A>
    <INPUT TYPE=text name=q size=25 maxlength=255 value="">
    <INPUT type=submit name=btnG VALUE="Google Search">
    </td></tr></TABLE>
    </FORM>
    </center>
    <!-- Search Google -->

    Note: If your page is not encoded as UTF-8, you should change the value of both fields to match your page's encoding.

    <!-- Google SafeSearch -->
    <center>
    <FORM method=GET action="http://www.google.co.uk/search">
    <input type=hidden name=ie value=UTF-8>
    <input type=hidden name=oe value=UTF-8>
    <TABLE bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><tr><td>
    <A HREF="http://www.google.co.uk/search?safe=vss">
    <IMG SRC="http://www.google.co.uk/logos/Google_Safe.gif"
    border="0" ALT="Google" width="115" height="45" align="absmiddle"></A>
    <INPUT TYPE=text name=q size=25 maxlength=255 value="">
    <INPUT type=hidden name=safe value=vss>
    <INPUT type=submit name=sa value="Google Search">
    </td></tr></TABLE>
    </FORM>
    </center>
    <!-- Google SafeSearch -->

    What could be better? Search me.
    Google Free web search with site search

    If you want visitors to find things easily within your web pages, add Google Free site search as well as web search. Just copy and paste the boxed code into your site, then replace the words "YOUR DOMAIN NAME," which appears three times in the code, with your own website's actual domain name (e.g., http://froogle.google.com).

    Note: If your page is not encoded as UTF-8, you should change the value of both fields to match your page's encoding.

    <!-- SiteSearch Google -->
    <FORM method=GET action="http://www.google.co.uk/search">
    <input type=hidden name=ie value=UTF-8>
    <input type=hidden name=oe value=UTF-8>
    <TABLE bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><tr><td>
    <A HREF="http://www.google.co.uk/">
    <IMG SRC="http://www.google.co.uk/logos/Logo_40wht.gif"
    border="0" ALT="Google"></A>
    </td>
    <td>
    <INPUT TYPE=text name=q size=31 maxlength=255 value="">
    <INPUT type=submit name=btnG VALUE="Google Search">
    <font size=-1>
    <input type=hidden name=domains value="YOUR DOMAIN NAME"><br><input type=radio name=sitesearch value=""> WWW <input type=radio name=sitesearch value="YOUR DOMAIN NAME" checked> YOUR DOMAIN NAME <br>
    </font>
    </td></tr></TABLE>
    </FORM>
    <!-- SiteSearch Google -->
