    Hello world,
I have an iPAQ hx 2410.
I want to watch some movies from my pocket pc. Format .avi or .mpg

I have tried the TCPMP (0.71) but I after installation I got a big red X and nothing happens.

Do you know of any other good video player?

    Thank you
    Newbie Pierre

To play avi files you could try Pocket MVP:
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/alternative_platforms/pda_software/pocketmvp.cfm
and for mpg files you could try Pocket TV:
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/alternative_platforms/pda_software/pockettv.cfm
Or you could try vlc player for pocket pc im not sure what it is good for yet but i intend to try it:

One more thing you could do is convert the file to a wmv for pocket pc using windows media encoder then just play them in windows media player:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx
(Probably best to convert the files to wmv, it makes the files smaller)
