I did post this a while ago and got an answer telling me to remove the css files, but it was ages ago and since moveing house and all sorts i lost the details.
If anyone can tell me the prog to use to do this, and a bit of advice on how to, i.e., do i drag the complete dvd to my HD and then remove, then re author, if so any suggestions on a god prog to use to this second part of the process.
    any help greatly appreciated..
    cheers all
    take it easy

Download DVD Decrypter. It removes CSS for you.

Open DVD Decrypter and select the files.

foolproof way to 'back up' dvd's:
run DVD Decrypter > specify a destination directory (e.g. c:\rips
download and run DVD2One > compress file size to 4.3GB and again specify a destination directory (e.g. c:\'moviename'
Run Nero and use the wizard > select DVD, Compile NEw, Other Format, DVD Video ..... then highlight all the files in your c:\'moviename' directory, click & drag all the files (from the right hand window) over to the left hand window and into the VIDEO TS folder.
Then as if by magic when you hit the burn icon the disc will be copied._X_X_X_X_X_[small][IMG][/small]
